As a Field Engineer , you'll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our certification programs by conducting safety and non-safety inspections and audits at customer facilities (electrical and electronics manufacturers) throughout Tunisia.
You'll verify that certified products continue to comply with applicable requirements, support customers throughout the certification lifecycle, and help uphold the trust behind the UL Mark. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with an electrical or electronics background who enjoys working independently, building customer relationships, and gaining exposure to a wide range of products and manufacturing environments.
Conducts safety and non-safety inspections and audits at customer facilities in accordance with applicable standards and UL Solutions procedures. Verifies that certified electrical and electronic products, components, materials, labels, and markings comply with UL Solutions requirements. Reviews production records, quality documentation, traceability programs, and previous inspection findings. Evaluates test equipment calibration and witness factory testing activities when required.
Prepares inspection reports and documents non-conformances and corrective actions. Schedules and manages inspection activities independently while maintaining high levels of quality and customer service. Acts as a trusted advisor to customers by answering questions and providing guidance on UL Solutions certification services. Collaborates with Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Customer Advocacy, Label Center, and other internal teams to support customers throughout the product lifecycle.
Builds strong customer relationships and helps customers navigate product launches, manufacturing changes, and ongoing certification requirements. #LI-Remote #LI-ZK1 Higher degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical discipline. Experience in auditing, inspection, compliance, product testing or a related technical field.
Knowledge of electrical and/or electronic products, components, manufacturing processes, or quality systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a field-based schedule. Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills. The salary range for this position in Poland is 101,600 - 135,400 PLN , and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of base salary.
