Responsible for supporting warehouse, inventory, purchasing, asset management, receiving, storage, shipping, logistics, and yard maintenance activities. This role processes requisitions, maintains accurate asset and inventory records, coordinates material movements, supports technicians and operations with required parts and equipment, and helps ensure warehouse and yard areas remain safe, organized, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
Purchasing and Asset Management • Process purchasing requisitions and support operational and project equipment needs. • Maintain required asset records and system updates for applicable equipment. Inventory Management and Control • Manage warehouse inventory, records, stock levels, and system updates.
• Conduct inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor shelf-life or damaged materials. Receiving and Storage • Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming equipment, materials, parts, and supplies. • Store and handle inventory safely and in accordance with company, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements.
Material Transfers, Shipping, and Logistics • Coordinate material transfers, shipping preparation, labeling, and logistics support. • Maintain shipping records and track outgoing materials through delivery. Operational and Technician Support • Ensure technicians and operations have required parts, tools, materials, and equipment support.
Equipment, Warehouse, and Yard Maintenance • Coordinate maintenance for warehouse, yard, and material-handling equipment. • Maintain warehouse and yard organization, safety, cleanliness, and facility support needs. • High school diploma required, BS/BA in Management preferred. • 3 or more years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, purchasing, or asset management support.
• Experience receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking materials, parts, tools, or equipment. • Familiarity with inventory systems, asset tracking systems, or ERP software. • Ability to operate or become certified to operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment. • Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, material transfers, and warehouse documentation.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely as required by the role. • Strong attention to detail and record accuracy. • Good organizational and inventory control skills. • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory systems.
• Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, material records, and asset documentation. • Good communication skills for coordinating with operations, logistics, technicians, and management. • Ability to prioritize daily work and support multiple requests. • Safety-focused work habits.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision. • Basic problem-solving skills for inventory discrepancies, missing parts, or material issues. • Ability to work after hours as needed to support emergency situations.
