production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Finance team keeps the business side of Octopi and Asahi as sharp as our production side — and the Staff Accountant plays a key role in keeping our books accurate, audit-ready, and on time. THE OPPORTUNITY We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our accounting and financial reporting functions — from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close — helping keep our financial information accurate and reliable as we continue to grow.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT • Broad exposure across the full accounting cycle — GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, close, and reporting — not just one narrow lane • A direct line to the Controller, with real visibility into how the business runs financially • A strong foundation role for building a long-term accounting career, especially as we continue to grow WHAT YOU'LL DO • Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain and investigate general ledger account activity • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close • Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and company bank deposits • Support preparation of financial statements and management reports • File and monitor tax reporting requirements, and maintain audit-ready accounting records • Track purchase orders and reconcile company credit card accounts WHAT YOU BRING Must-haves: • 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred • 2-year accounting or business degree with 1–2 years of related experience, or a 4-year accounting degree • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail Nice-to-haves: • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Experience supporting fixed asset accounting BENEFITS & PERKS • Medical, dental, and vision coverage — effective the 1st of the month after 30 days • Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance • 401(k) with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2% • 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here • 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday) • A free beer after shift, because you earned it PAY • Pay: $60,000–$65,000 annually Full-time, exempt
