Junior Mechanic – Fleet Maintenance

We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Junior Mechanic who wants to build a career in fleet maintenance. Diesel or hydraulic experience is a plus, but not required — if you have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the drive to learn, we'll train you.
When our trucks are down, so is our business, and you'll be part of the team that keeps them rolling. What You'll Do Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on a mixed fleet of tow trucks, including both newer and high-mileage vehicles requiring close attention Learn to service and maintain Dodge Ram 4500 chassis vehicles and Jerr-Dan towing systems, including hydraulic components Service tow dollies and associated towing equipment Perform routine service work such as oil changes, brakes, tires, lights, fluid checks, and inspections Help diagnose and repair both diesel and unleaded passenger vehicles under the guidance of our senior mechanic Keep the shop and parts room clean and organized, and assist with parts inventory Maintain accurate maintenance records using basic MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) Partner with drivers and management to minimize vehicle downtime and keep the fleet road-ready Training & Schedule First 90 Days: You'll work the day shift alongside our senior mechanic, learning our fleet, our equipment, and our standards After 90 Days: You'll move to the night shift, keeping the fleet serviced and ready while the trucks are in the yard Pay Review: Your training pay will be reviewed and increased after 90 days based on your experience and performance What We Offer Competitive Compensation: $15–$30 per hour based on experience, with an increase after your 90-day training period Career Advancement Opportunities: We're growing, and we want team members who want to grow with us — from junior mechanic to mechanic, lead technician, or fleet management Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to keep you and your family healthy.
