Supply Coordinator

Description The Supply Coordinator is responsible for the inventory management and replenishment of supplies. This includes ordering, stocking, filling orders and conducting an ongoing inventory of supplies to ensure supply demands are being met.   The Supply Coordinator is responsible for assisting all vendors with access to the building, HVAC, fire, ceiling, panels, electrical, etc.   Physical Demands  Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds and ability push/pull a minimum of 35 pounds, which includes the lifting, pushing and/or pulling of medical supplies and equipment   Work Environment  Work is performed in an office environment with the supply room being in the basement of the building.      Work Schedule   This is a part-time position that follows a rotating schedule, working two weekdays during one week and three weekdays the following week.

 Regular work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with scheduled workdays varying between Monday and Friday. The position averages 40 hours per biweekly pay period and may require additional hours, as needed, to provide coverage when the other Supply Coordinator is unavailable.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES  Completes ongoing and an annual end of the year inventory of medical equipment and supplies.  Maintains an organized, clean, efficient work area and stores supplies according to product guidelines.  Completes DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) and EPA RCRA training within 90 days of employment and the required renewal every 3 years.  Works with vendors and maintains a just-in-time current inventory by ordering medical & office supplies as needed without having too much surplus or running out of items Research vendors and orders from those who provide quality supplies while keeping costs under control.  Research vendors and orders from those who provide quality medical & office supplies while keeping costs under control.  Processes employee supply orders, refills supply bins according to guidelines and distributes nursing bags to new employees.  Assists the Facilities Specialist performing general building and grounds cleanup and maintenance (i.e.  Requirements Minimum of a H.S.

Diploma or GED.  General office experience  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work in excel to create, maintain and update inventory files.  Prior experience working in a medical setting.
