We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant – COO to join our team! About the role: The Executive Assistant to the SVP/COO provides executive, administrative, and development support to the SVP/Chief Operations Officer, as well as the Senior Management Team (SMT) and HR in carrying out the objectives of the credit union. Requirements Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Executive Support: Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the SVP/COO including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Works closely and effectively with the SVP/COO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately Plans, coordinates and ensures the SVP/COO 's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the SVP/COO 's time and office. Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the SVP/COO's office and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management team.
Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manages a variety of special projects for the SVP/COO, some of which may have organizational impact. Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Reports/Presentation Creation/Development Supervisory Committee and Credit Committee Liaison: Serves as the Supervisory Committee and Credit Committee Liaison.
Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all volunteers (i.e. Board, Supervisory Committee, etc.) Coordinates monthly meetings and lunches. Attend
