R&D Engineer Are you an engineer who enjoys hands-on testing, problem-solving, and learning how products move from concept to patient care? We're seeking an R&D Engineer to join our team and support products that help physicians treat patients. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain exposure to product development, testing, validation, regulatory processes, and cross-functional collaboration while working alongside experienced engineering professionals.

In this role, you'll contribute to projects that directly impact patient outcomes while building a strong foundation in medical device development and product lifecycle management. What You'll Do Perform hands-on laboratory testing and product evaluations. Support design verification and validation activities for existing products. Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and reports. Help create and validate test methods used to evaluate product performance.

Assist with troubleshooting product, testing, and validation issues. Support product improvement initiatives and engineering investigations. Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams. Participate in technical documentation development and review activities. Contribute to process validation and equipment qualification efforts. Support regulatory submissions through data collection and documentation activities.

Analyze test data and communicate findings to project teams. Continuously develop knowledge of medical devices, therapies, and quality systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline. 0-2 years of engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, research projects, or full-time employment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn quickly in a technical environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Internship, co-op, research, or laboratory experience. Experience with testing, data analysis, or technical documentation. Exposure to medical devices, healthcare technology, manufacturing, or other regulated industries. Familiarity with validation, verification, or quality systems.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
