You will help plan and execute Agile Program Increments and sprints, guide the team in Scrum best practices, and develop high-quality software that meets strict performance, security, and reliability requirements.
Approximately 70% of your time will focus on software development and technical implementation, while 30% will focus on Scrum and Agile leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities Lead and support Agile software development activities within a Scrum team, contributing both as a hands-on engineer and as a Scrum-focused leader. Apply knowledge of software engineering practices, including coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines, and configuration management.
Manage application deployment, integration, and troubleshooting across Windows and Unix/Linux platforms to ensure reliable system operation. Use tools such as Eclipse IDE, Maven, Git/GitLab, Python, and Ansible to support build, version control, and configuration management activities. Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate build-and-test pipelines and improve development efficiency and repeatability.
Design, implement, and execute automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, and other automated test frameworks to maintain robust test coverage. Produce repeatable test artifacts, maintain and track test coverage, and support continuous integration and delivery practices. Leverage Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, track work, document designs, and support Agile ceremonies. Collaborate closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and other technical stakeholders to resolve obstacles quickly and keep the team on track.

Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, or similar) at the time of application, with a commitment to maintain this certification throughout the contract. Current, active in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, required to start on Day 1.
