As an R&D Lab Technician , you'll play a critical role in supporting the development of new dietary supplement products while helping maintain a world-class laboratory environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with research, development, and pilot production teams, contributing directly to product innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll be involved in everything from laboratory operations and equipment maintenance to sample preparation, testing coordination, and pilot-scale production support. What You'll Do Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment across development, pilot, and storage areas.
Perform routine setup, operation, verification, calibration, cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and glassware. Coordinate preventive maintenance and outside service support to minimize equipment downtime. Manage laboratory inventory, including ingredients, raw materials, reagents, packaging materials, and laboratory supplies. Partner with R&D scientists and technical teams on pilot production and scale-up activities.
Assist with sample collection, testing, data gathering, batch manufacturing, and product evaluations. Support physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations, including appearance, odor, and taste assessments. What We're Looking For Post-secondary education in a scientific discipline. Previous laboratory, environmental testing, manufacturing, or quality-related experience. Familiarity with laboratory equipment, chemistry fundamentals, and GMP-regulated environments.
Experience supporting research, development, quality, or production operations Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site position with a collaborative R&D team focused on developing innovative dietary supplement products. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
