Blue Mountain Community Management, an Associa company, is seeking a Community Director to serve as our local leader and client advocate in the Seattle market. This highly visible role is ideal for someone who understands Washington community association requirements, enjoys working directly with boards and vendors, and knows how to strengthen client relationships through proactive, high-touch support.

You will serve as the primary local presence for our Seattle-area clients while partnering closely with our Oregon-based community management team. Your focus will be on board relationships, client retention and satisfaction, vendor oversight, statutory guidance, and identifying opportunities to deliver additional value. You may also directly manage a select portfolio of high-touch communities. What You’ll Do Serve as a Local Leader and Trusted Advisor Build strong, trusted relationships with Seattle-area boards, homeowners, vendors, and business partners Maintain a visible presence in the Seattle market and provide on-site leadership when needed Serve as a strategic advisor to boards, helping them navigate operational challenges and make informed decisions Proactively monitor client satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities to strengthen long-term relationships Represent Blue Mountain professionally within the local community association market Support and Retain Key Clients Oversee the service experience, retention, and overall satisfaction of Seattle-area clients Provide high-touch support to key accounts and potentially manage a select portfolio of complex or high-value communities Coordinate with the Oregon-based community management team to ensure routine operational needs are handled efficiently Step in when local expertise, board engagement, vendor coordination, or an on-site presence is required Develop a strong understanding of each client’s priorities, challenges, and expectations Provide Washington-Specific Expertise Maintain current knowledge of Washington statutes and requirements affecting community associations Translate regulatory information into practical guidance for community managers, boards, and internal partners Keep the team informed of relevant legislative and regulatory developments Help promote consistent, compliant community management practices throughout the Seattle portfolio Oversee Vendors and Revenue Opportunities Develop and maintain productive relationships with local vendors and service providers Provide on-site oversight for significant projects, higher-value work, and complex vendor matters Identify and manage billable service opportunities that create value for clients and support branch performance Assist with bids, contract discussions, project coordination, and vendor accountability as needed Support Strategic Partnerships and Growth Provide local support for strategic homebuilder and developer relationships, including association-related matters connected to land acquisitions Help ensure continuity of service and institutional knowledge during leadership transitions Identify opportunities to expand Blue Mountain’s presence and relationships in the Seattle market Contribute to business development, strategic planning, and financial performance Requirements What You Bring Five or more years of community association management experience, with direct experience in Washington strongly preferr
