The International Intelligence Systems Advisor (IISA) is an integral member of the Global Intelligence Division leadership team, representing the N970 Division in engagements and work program development actions across U.S. sponsors at multiple levels. This senior division leadership position is responsible for international intelligence strategy, capability development, and coordination of cross-program initiatives for the NGA, NSP, and NSA work programs.
The IISA works in partnership with the N970 Director, Chief Engineer, department managers, and project leaders to enable an integrated approach to international intelligence across Intelligence Community (IC) and aligned Department of War (DoW) sponsors and serves as a subject matter expert and trusted technical advisor to MITRE leadership, sponsors, and partner stakeholders. The IISA drives N970 division strategic alignment with Goal 4 of the National Intelligence Strategy: Diversify, Expand, and Strengthen Partnerships.
Across the NGA, NSP, and NSA work programs, the advisor will strengthen established relationships, advance MITRE’s capability in international intelligence partnerships, and improve mission interoperability and responsible information sharing. The IGIA provides enterprise-level integration and strategic coherence across MITRE activities supporting partner burden sharing initiatives, to include bilateral and multilateral intelligence collaboration, without altering existing programmatic ownership structures.
Additionally, the IISA serves as a Global Intelligence Division focal point for coordination and integration across shared MNS Global, MITRE Australia, DoW and IC international partnership efforts. The IISA operates at the enterprise integration level, dynamically assembling and leading cross-functional MITRE teams drawn from across organizational boundaries to develop partner strategies, capability roadmaps, assessments, and work program recommendations.
The role does not rely on a standing team structure, but instead depends on the continuous ability to convene, align, and synthesize distributed expertise across MITRE, sponsors, and authorized partner stakeholders into unified, mission-relevant outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be expected to: Partner with N970 Global Intelligence Division leadership, Department Managers and Chief Engineers to develop a cohesive international global intelligence strategy for the division that advances sponsor partnership priorities, increases technical quality of existing work, and leads to sustainable work program growth across NGA, NSP, and NSA business organizations.
Lead cross-functional, ad hoc MITRE teams to develop integrated intelligence partnership capabilities spanning intelligence mission operations, analysis, data and architecture interoperability, information sharing, workforce development, governance, and technology adoption. Translate sponsor priorities and partner mission needs into mutually beneficial capability roadmaps, engagement plans, and work program opportunities, including scoped concepts, sequenced activities, measurable outco
