The Role   As a Patient Care Technician, you will support outpatient clinic operations while serving as an important connection between patients and the healthcare team. In a typical day, you will:   Welcome and support patients throughout their clinic visit. Assist with patient intake activities, including obtaining and documenting vital signs and other clinical information. Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures. Support providers and nursing staff with clinical and operational tasks. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.

Assist with specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other patient care activities as appropriate . Monitor and stock clinical supplies, equipment, and treatment areas. Reinforce patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards. Collaborate with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and an exceptional care experience. Provide compassionate, patient-centered support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
