Job Title: Production Assembler Job Description This role focuses on production assembly, operating and monitoring machines, handling small parts, and preparing finished products for shipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will contribute directly to efficient production by loading materials, inspecting products, and packaging items while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Load materials into production machines according to established procedures.
Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper performance and output quality. Visually inspect products coming off the machines to identify defects or irregularities. Package and palletize finished products for storage or shipment. Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely to support mechanical and production tasks. Perform mechanical assembly tasks involving extremely small parts with precise hand/eye coordination.
Work on production lines to pick, pack, and prepare products in an efficient and organized manner. Follow blueprints or basic work instructions when required for assembly or production tasks. Maintain a consistent work pace with repetitive tasks while preserving attention to detail. Adhere to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards to keep the shop clean and organized. Show up consistently for scheduled weekend shifts and complete assigned duties reliably.
Essential Skills Strong hand/eye coordination for working with extremely small parts. Ability to occasionally lift 30–50 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift. Experience with general labor and assembly tasks. Proficiency with mechanical assembly work. Ability to operate production machinery and follow standard operating procedures. Comfort working on a production line performing picking, packing, and packaging tasks.
Capability to perform repetitive work while maintaining focus and accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly setting. Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or work instructions. Previous experience in packaging, palletizing, and production line operations. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities over time.
Comfort working with very small, detailed parts that may feel repetitive or mundane. Reliability in attendance and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.42 - $22.42/hr.
