MACHINE OPERATOR 1st and 2nd shift - $25-$26/HR URGENT HIRING- START ASAP Job Description Set-up, clean, and monitor machine operations according to standard operating instructions. Understand department safety, quality and regulatory requirements, and production goals; actively engage in meeting these goals. Move and inspect raw materials and products to ensure there are no visual defects; take corrective action as needed.
Responsibilities Perform checks to ensure accuracy per product specifications, ensure overall product quality, and track in manual logs or computer systems to capture deviations and quality traceability data. Interrupt machine operation as necessary to correct operating problems; minimize production of materials that do not meet specifications by quickly taking action and using investigative, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
Accurately measure work in process (WIP) and finished goods. Perform troubleshooting to solve equipment malfunctions. Conduct handling and mixing of chemicals according to prescribed formulas and procedures. Contain, label, store, and transfer hazardous waste according to procedures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
