Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the 1st shift, working Monday through Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to operate and manage CNC machinery efficiently, ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Study blueprints, sketches, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines to machine parts as needed. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
Verify the conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using measuring and inspection tools as necessary. Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Confer with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of recent CNC machining experience.
Knowledge of blueprints and CNC machines. Experience working with Mazak machines and Mazatrol SmoothX Controls. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Mazak 3-5 axis machining. CNC Lathe background. Millturn background is required. Familiarity with Fanuc controls. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
