Job Title: Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Technician to ensure the smooth operation of a newly installed conveyor system. This role involves night shifts dedicated to monitoring and maintaining the system at an industrial facility. The position is project-based, lasting 6 to 8 weeks, and does not offer a permanent opportunity. Responsibilities Watch the conveyor system and clear jams to ensure continuous operation.
Perform light maintenance on machinery during breakdowns, including checking loads and volts. Work alongside another team member, assisting with repairs and troubleshooting. Conduct basic electrical tasks such as verifying electricity using a multimeter and changing fuses with a screwdriver. Fill out nightly reports and communicate effectively with customers. Troubleshoot issues using blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills Basic electrical knowledge, including changing fuses and finding open circuits with a multimeter. Experience as a facilities technician with strong electrical skills. Electrical apprentice experience is acceptable. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in using a laptop computer to upload/download programs to conveyor modules over Ethernet. Basic skills in MS Word and Excel for written reports.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
