Your Impact Support the annual budget and quarterly and monthly forecasts; support the month-end process and the monthly analysis of costs and capital (weekly forecast of financial indicators); support the investment valuation management system and project feasibility analyses; assist with trust management for project closures and other matters; manage business unit risks; and support other reporting requirements.nts.
As part of our team you will In this role, the individual will: Assist in preparing the site's annual budget and quarterly/monthly forecasts by taking inputs from various functions and generating Excel-based reports and PowerPoint presentations. Support the month-end process and monthly cost and capital analysis. Support the Investment Valuation Management process. Support reporting requirements.
Support other ad-hoc requests. Prerequisites for your success in this role Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Hands-on experience managing month-end close activities and financial reporting. Strong background in financial analysis, including performance tracking and business insights.
Experience in capital management and investment evaluation. Previous experience in the mining industry or a comparable industrial environment is preferred. Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with ERP systems and financial management software. Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Key Competencies Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and present financial information to stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality. Language Requirements Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively in a bilingual business environment.
Your work environment This position is based in Lima or Cajarmarca. The incumbent may be required to travel and assist other sites nationally and internationally.
