Job Description Job Description The Training Specialist will focus on the coordination, implementation, and delivery of training and development programs that support enrollment and advising staff. This role will partner with business stakeholders to support learning initiatives from planning through implementation, including coordinating workshops, organizing resources, facilitating training, and supporting learning program execution.
The individual will provide ongoing support for both new and existing colleagues while helping ensure training initiatives are delivered effectively and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with project managers, functional groups, quality excellence, business analysts, and technical staff, the Training Specialist will help coordinate project activities, manage training communications, and support successful learning outcomes across multiple initiatives.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training for new hires and current Enrollment and Student Advising colleagues, including onboarding, workshops, certifications, learning events, development opportunities, and training plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Drive onboarding program planning and implementation, in coordination with project leaders and stakeholders. Lead multiple learning initiatives using established project management tools and processes; track plans, milestones, risks, resources, schedules, scope, and delivery.
Develop, update, and maintain learning solutions, training materials, and supporting resources that reflect current policies, procedures, processes, and evolving business needs. Partner with managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and align on training and development priorities. Collaborate with leaders on the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes.
Work closely with relevant Subject Matter Experts and business leaders to support the successful implementation of training programs. Communicate training requirements, priorities, timelines, progress, and roadblock to functional partners while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. Evaluate training effectiveness using learner and stakeholder feedback and performance observations; identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement efforts to ensure learning effectiveness.
Support change management and implementation efforts associated with learning and development projects and initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required 4+ years experience facilitating training, workshops, presentations, or group learning experiences in a professional environment. Experience working with business stakeholders to identify training needs, support implementation efforts, and coordinate learning initiatives.
Experience using learning technologies, project management tools, and business systems preferred. Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design practices, and methods for delivering effective in-person and virtual learning experiences.
