Join our forward-thinking structural bridge design team in Tampa, FL, and collaborate with industry-leading engineers and designers on transformative bridge and transportation projects across Florida and beyond.
This is an opportunity to grow professionally, contribute to cutting-edge designs, and thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment that values innovation and your career development.  Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed CAD drawings as well as 2D and 3D models for bridge structures and related civil components using OpenRoads, OpenBridge, AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Assist in the design and drafting of structural plans, sections, and details for transportation structures including highway and pedestrian bridges, drainage structures, and miscellaneous transportation structures.
Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts and translate them into construction-ready drawings. Support revisions and redlines based on engineering feedback and project requirements. Maintain organized drawing sets and adhere to company and DOT standards.   Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS plus two years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements: Associate degree in Drafting & Design Technology, Civil Engineering Technology. Completion of a recognized CAD certification program Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus Basic understanding of structural and civil engineering principles Proficiency in following  design standards Effective communication and teamwork skills Internship or academic project experience in bridge or transportation design Familiarity with FDOT standards and procedures Exposure to structural detailing or BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla) Additional Information Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes office work in our Tampa, FL office. The selected candidate must be available to work in the Tampa, FL office on a scheduled basis.
