Job Description As a Tax Specialist – Reporting & Accounting, you will help ensure that Boskalis’ global tax position is reported accurately, consistently and on time.
Working at group level, you will support the tax reporting, tax accounting and tax compliance processes that feed into our financial reporting. This includes preparing, reviewing and analysing current and deferred tax positions, tax disclosures, IFRIC/IAS12 positions, Pillar Two and GloBE reporting and related controls. You will form part of the Group Tax team, will work closely with the Tax Reporting Manager and with colleagues in Group Accounting, Reporting and Finance, as well as with local finance teams around the world.

That makes our tax reporting and accounting landscape varied, complex and rewarding. In this role, you will translate international business activities into reliable tax figures, clear analyses and robust reporting processes. In the coming period, you may be involved in activities such as: Coordinating and supporting the quarterly and annual tax reporting process, including the calculation and review of current tax, deferred tax, effective tax rate analysis and tax notes for the consolidated financial statements.
Working with local finance teams and external advisors to collect, validate and analyse tax reporting data, identify reporting issues and ensure that tax positions are properly reflected in the group reporting package. Helping to further professionalise our tax accounting processes, internal controls, reporting instructions and documentation, including support for audits, tax accounting positions, Pillar Two reporting and improvements in systems and data quality.
Your qualities and experience You can make your mark as a Tax Specialist – Reporting & Accounting if you: Have completed a relevant higher professional education degree (HBO/ Hoge school) or higher in accounting, finance, tax accounting or tax, combined with relevant experience in tax reporting, tax accounting, audit or financial reporting in an international environment. Bring strong analytical skills, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work confidently with financial data, reporting systems and deadlines.
Are ambitious, eager to learn and keen to take responsibility in an international tax environment. Enjoy improving processes, strengthening documentation and making complex reporting requirements more efficient and transparent. Work accurately and in a structured way, with the ability to translate tax and accounting topics into clear reporting outcomes. Communicate clearly and professionally in both Dutch and English.
