Job Description Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time) | Greencross Vets Coburg | Melbourne, VIC Looking for a clinic where your skills are valued, your team genuinely supports you, and there's room to grow? Greencross Vets Coburg is looking for an experienced Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive team on a part-time basis, working approximately 3 shifts per week, with the potential for additional hours as the clinic continues to grow.

Conveniently located within a busy Petbarn store, our clinic benefits from excellent client engagement and a steady flow of patients requiring preventative, medical, and surgical care. Our team consists of: 4 Veterinarians 4 Veterinary Nurses We also work closely with our neighbouring Greencross Preston clinic, creating additional opportunities for collaboration, support, and professional growth across both sites.

About the Role This is a part-time opportunity, working approximately 3 shifts per week, with the possibility of additional hours in the future. You'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care while helping support the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Responsibilities include: Assisting veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and treatments Surgical preparation and theatre assistance Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery Medical nursing and hospital patient care Pathology collection and diagnostic testing Administering medications and treatments Dental nursing assistance Supporting nursing workflows and daily clinic operations Providing exceptional client service and communication Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control Supporting and mentoring less experienced nurses where appropriate This role provides an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse who enjoys both hands-on nursing and contributing positively to team culture.
