Description de l'entreprise    Description du poste We are looking for a People Manager France to lead H&M France's People strategy and sustainably support business performance through its people, leaders, and organization. As a member of the France Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the General Manager, you will play a key role in aligning business priorities with People initiatives and supporting the organization in achieving its performance and growth objectives.
Through your HR expertise, strong retail business acumen, and ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will directly contribute to commercial performance, employee experience, and the development of a strong culture built on H&M values. WHAT YOU'LL DO Define and execute the France People Strategy in alignment with the Group's global People agenda and the ambitions of the French market.
Partner with and challenge Leadership Team members on organizational design, leadership, talent management, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives. Lead employee and labor relations while ensuring compliance with French labor law, collective agreements, and internal policies. Drive talent and leadership development through performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development initiatives.
Lead transformation projects and organizational changes while ensuring employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and business continuity. Leverage People data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support the achievement of business objectives in France. WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH As a member of the H&M France Leadership Team, you will work closely with the General Manager, functional leaders, and operational leaders across the store network.
You will also collaborate with continental and global teams, employee representatives, social partners, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the People strategy for the French market. You will lead the People Team and play a central role in connecting business priorities, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience. WHO YOU ARE We are looking for someone who has: Significant experience as an HR Director, Head of HR, or senior leader managing a large-scale organization.
Strong experience within a retail, multi-site, or highly operational customer-focused environment. Extensive knowledge of French labor law, employee relations, and works council (CSE) environments. Proven experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives. Recognized expertise in talent management, leadership development, performance management, and succession planning. Strong capability to influence and support senior leadership teams in strategic and organizational decision-making.
Native or bilingual proficiency in French and fluent English in an international business environment. We are also looking for someone who is: Passionate about developing people, teams, and leaders. Business-oriented and able to translate People challenges into tangible business results. Comfortable working in complex, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environments. An excellent communicator with strong influencing and decision-making skills.
