  We are seeking a motivated Vessel Operator to join LDC Freight Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of dry bulk voyages, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective sea transportation of various commodities across global trade routes. Our Vessel Operators oversees voyage execution from fixture to completion. Working closely with the Freight Traders, Freight Execution team, internal/external customers, and a number of stake holders.
The responsibility includes for all aspects of the voyages execution, monitoring contractual performance, manage operational risks, and ensuring efficient accomplishment in line with the company policies. Job Description Main Responsibilities This role requires efficient control and close liaison with other counterparties in remote locations. The key tasks assigned include: Operate and be responsible for the end-to-end management of all allocated vessels’ shipping operations matter, for Dry Cargo ships Communicate and liaise with vessel owner’s/ship masters/charterers, trading team and other relevant stakeholders on voyage instructions Responsible for following up on post fixture activities Manage assigned external relations with customers and / or suppliers Support and lead process improvement initiatives as required Ensure and champion a close and harmonious working relationship with the relevant Commercial team Collaborate effectively with other Freight Platform desks   Main Responsibilities: Provide voyage orders to the vessels and maintain a fruitful relationship with the vessels command Appoint port agents, surveyors and vendors.
Monitoring their performance. Understand cargo intake optimization and control stowage plans Optimize the bunkering plan in collaboration with the bunker desk Maintain the voyage management system data accuracy (IMOS) and provide payment/invoicing instructions Understand the voyages P&L, keep it accurate Monitor the vessels route and performance Resolve disputes and claims Contribute to process and practices improvements Support the commercial team Nurture a positive working relationship with the various stakeholders   Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in vessel operations Languages: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Soft skills: Accountable with a strong sense of ownership, team play and collaboration.
