    About the Role:   As a Working Student – IT General Controls, you will support our IT Governance team within Information Security in managing and improving our IT control processes. You’ll help keep controls on track by following up on open topics, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the required evidence and documentation are properly maintained.  At the same time, you’ll contribute to making our controls smarter and more automated.
The team is building a more integrated controls setup using Power Query and Python, leveraged by AI (ChatGPT), and you’ll have the opportunity to explore automation, connect different processes and information sources, and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of IT Governance, Information Security, and technology.  Job Description About your Tasks:   Support the day-to-day management of IT controls by following up on open tickets, collecting and uploading evidence to the required Audit tool in use, and making sure actions are properly tracked and closed.   Proactively work with different stakeholders, following up on outstanding topics and independently driving your tasks forward.   Help improve and automate IT control processes using tools such as Excel, Power Query and Python.   Contribute to the team's goal of building a more integrated controls setup, including exploring automation and connections with Jira, Confluence, and their APIs.   Keep control activities, documentation, and deadlines organized and structured while identifying opportunities to simplify repetitive processes.   Qualifications About You:  You are organized, proactive, and tech-savvy.
You enjoy working with structured processes but are also curious about how Python, AI, and automation can make them smarter and more efficient. You're comfortable taking ownership of your work and reaching out to stakeholders to keep things moving.  Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field, with at least one year of studies remaining.   You have good knowledge of Excel, including XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, and ideally some experience with Power Query.   You having hands-on experience with Python, ideally having already used it for an automation, university, or personal project, is a plus.  You are familiar with Jira and Confluence, with experience using or connecting to APIs being a plus.   You are comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and are interested in applying AI and prompting automation and everyday workflows.   You are self-reliant, process-oriented, and confident in communicating with stakeholders.  You have Fluent English skills and having German language is a plus.  Additional Information About your Benefits:  In order to provide our employees with the best possible support for their individual needs, we offer a variety of attractive benefits:  Work from Home: If your job doesn't require you to be in the office, you can be flexible about where you work – eve
