We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our manufacturing team. We currently have two distinct positions open: Basecoat Sander and Finishing Area Wrapper Inspector . These positions are part-time with flexible hours, making them ideal for individuals looking to work a few hours a day, 4–5 days a week. Both roles require a strong eye for detail, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
Job Summary – Basecoat Sander As a Basecoat Sander, you will be responsible for preparing wood surfaces—specifically cabinet doors —for final finish applications. You will work with both hand and power tools to strip old finishes, repair surface defects, and sand components to ensure a flawless final product. Core Responsibilities Prep, sand, and strip old finishes from doors and cabinets.
Repair surface defects and smooth imperfections. Meet daily and weekly production targets with minimal supervision. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace. Job Summary – Finishing Area Wrapper Inspector As a Finishing Area Wrapper Inspector, you will focus on the inspecting the quality of our products. You will inspect completed pieces to ensure they meet our high-quality standards and apply a protective film to secure the final product for transport.
Core Responsibilities Inspect completed doors to identify and resolve material or structural defects. Apply a protective film carefully over completed cabinet doors. Collaborate seamlessly within a team environment while managing individual tasks. Pay: 1st shift starting pay: $16.50 per hour (negotiable based on experience) Hours: Flexible hours at least 20 to 34 hours per week between 6am to 4pm (Monday through Friday) Bi-weekly pay periods Performance Incentives: Ability to earn up to $0.75/hour increase at 90 days based on performance Ability to earn up to $1.00/hour increase at 6 months based on performance Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Ability to lift up 5 to 15 lbs regularly throughout the shift. Basic computer skills to scan items and process production paperwork. Proven ability to achieve production goals and work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail to follow written instructions, spot defects, and keep precise records. Must be willing to undergo and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
