NFI North is seeking an Assistant Program Director Monday-Friday at our 16-bed adult program which has been relocated to Arbor View in Newport, NH.

This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services, case management, and life skills for adults living with mental illness who are seeking independent living.  Many of our participants get back into the community by volunteering, gaining employment, and transitioning into apartments with the support of our amazing staff team.

Responsibilities: Assisting the Program Director in the overall functioning and operation of the program, including administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, coordination of staff training and team building, and maintaining the safety and maintenance requirements. This person would also provide support to shift supervisors and conduct staff supervisions, group/individual counseling, and crisis intervention.

This position has rotating on-call responsibilities and is a member of the management team. Must be available to work some evening hours. Qualifications: Minimum of Associates Degree or 60 credit hours of college credits, preferred Bachelor’s Degree in human services (or equivalent); and 3-5 years of supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
