SUMMARY Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to support our Environmental Solutions Practice in the Greater Toronto Area. This role is ideal for an environmental professional with strong Ontario remediation experience who can independently manage site investigation and remediation projects from planning through regulatory closure.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, subcontractors, and internal project teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable provincial regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects to meet technical, regulatory, schedule, and budget objectives.

Lead remedial investigations, groundwater monitoring programs, excess soil management activities, and remedial implementation projects. Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, regulatory submissions, and closure documentation. Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, laboratories, drillers, remediation contractors, and field personnel. Develop project budgets, schedules, and forecasts and monitor project financial performance.

Track project milestones and identify risks, scope changes, and corrective actions. Serve as the primary client contact and provide regular project updates and recommendations. Coordinate and communicate with regulatory agencies, including the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP). Support Record of Site Condition (RSC) and brownfield redevelopment projects. Provide field oversight for drilling, excavation, remediation, and contractor activities as needed.

Support proposal preparation, cost estimating, and business development initiatives. Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and project direction.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  Strong understanding of environmental site investigation and remediation practices. Working knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations and brownfield redevelopment programs. Experience with soil, groundwater, and vapour remediation technologies and remedial design concepts.

Knowledge of excess soil management requirements and implementation. Ability to develop practical, defensible remediation strategies and closure pathways. Strong technical writing and report review skills. Demonstrated project management, budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing experience. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, regulators, contractors, and project teams.
