For our location in Uxbridge , in the Greater London area, we are looking for a CNC Programmer .
Your responsibilities Develop and maintain CNC programmes using AlphaCAM Create efficient CNC milling programmes for both horizontal and vertical machining centres Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications and 3D solid models and develop work holding solutions Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds and feeds to optimise machining performance Manufacture components to tight tolerances Collaborate closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve machining processes, increase efficiency and resolve technical challenges Create, maintain and optimise CNC programmes for a range of machining centres Assist the Machine Shop Supervisor with day-to-day operational activities as required Review, update and continuously improve existing CNC programmes to enhance productivity, quality and machining efficiency Your profile Demonstrated experience in CNC programming, with a strong background in CNC milling and machining operations Proficiency in offline programming using CAD/CAM package and confidence in supporting shop-floor machining activities Ability to analyse complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing processes Strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives Highly organised, detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience in precision engineering and familiarity with ERP systems would be beneficial, although training will be provide Our benefits 4 day working week with Fridays off (37,5 hours per week) Life Cover: 2x Annual Salary Pension: Employer’s & Employee’s contribution Competitive bonus scheme Employer-only option salary exchange Generous holiday equivalent to 5 weeks holiday Medical insurance with an option to include as a payroll benefit A culture calendar to celebrate events Birthday lunch every month hosted by our Managing Director Employee benefits portal with discounts on many products Active social club – with regular events
