Arcosa / Ameron Pole Products is searching for a Loader. The Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to meet production goals while conducting inspections, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting team communication and site operations. Job Responsibilities Operate heavy construction equipment professionally and efficiently to meet production goals.
Perform pre-shift inspections, maintain equipment repair/maintenance records, and ensure records are submitted to your supervisor. Perform proper workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Must be qualified to work in a safety-sensitive environment. Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
Assist with safety audits. Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned The typical work schedule is a daytime shift, Monday through Friday; occasional or as-needed overtime may be required. Saturdays may be required based on production needs. About You Must have at least 2 years of loader operator experience, preferably with Caterpillar 980 and 988 loaders.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to take responsibility for your actions, especially related to safety. Ability to work in a variety of outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, or rainy conditions). Working Conditions: Hourly Full-Time position Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant Safety Activities Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
