The primary purpose of this position is to perform duties under the Defense Civilan Pay System (DCPS) as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). Major duties: - As the Chief of Civilian Pay, receives and examines complex payroll authorization documents (e.g., leave authorization forms, saving bond and allotments, employee organization deductions, etc.), makes computations, an prepares proper forms for the pay of the full variety of civilian position (e.g., doctors and nurses under Title 38, firefighters, teachers, etc.).
- Audits pay and leave accounts to identify and correct delinquent and/or erroneous personnel actions or timekeeping errors. - Provides customer service in person or by telephonc1 and completes correspondence - Performs miscellaneous duties in support of the payroll function.
