This position is under the direction of the Deputy State Director (DSD) to support a state in evaluating RD programs and administrative operations to determine their effectiveness and efficiency in accomplishing goals and management initiatives. Major duties: The purpose of the work is to assist in measuring the effectiveness of strategic planning initiatives and to provide administrative assistance on various programs within the state.,Contacts are with employees at all levels in RD and officials of other federal and non-federal agencies, and may include State and local government personnel.,Determines program trends and weaknesses and as appropriate advises the DSD, Administrative Officer (AO), or cognizant manager of necessary corrective action as needed to improve operating effectiveness.,Using input from a wide variety of sources, develop the annual plan of work/calendar of events/ meetings to plan and project the effectiveness utilization of the organizations resources.
