About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1U301 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD. Major duties: Identify and develop innovative CI opportunities and activities to support critical Army acquisition programs and emerging technologies directly impacting the Army.,Create collaborative and synchronized relationships to develop joint and integrated CI support to critical infrastructure and technologies affecting the entire DOD community.,Assists in updating and developing Army policy and regulation relating to Research, Development, and Acquisition to better protect Army programs, systems and investment strategies from compromise and exploitation by foreign intelligence entities.,Ensures leadership is kept fully apprised of key issues, significant developments, and any other issues of importance which may positively or negatively affect activities.
