About the Position: This position is located at 5th Medical Group, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. Major duties: Serve as a Credentials Specialists for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) within the Professional Affairs Branch.,Provide consultation services, ongoing review, and interpretation of regulatory requirements.,Prepare reports and recommend actions to correct deficiencies and/or improve operations.,Coordinate interactions with local, state and Federal agencies responsible for credentials and the privileging of independent healthcare providers, and all licensed, registered, and/or certified healthcare employees.,Manage the credentials and privileging program for privileged health care providers.,Conduct internal reviews and audits of the Provider Credential Files (PCF) and Provider Activity Files (PAF) to assure activities of the office comply with standards, policies, and guidance.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
