About the Position: The Health System Specialist position is located with The Brooke Army Medical Center, located in San Antonio, Texas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major duties: Evaluate non-beneficiary, civilian trauma patient eligibility cases against program regulations.,Initiate immediate billing processes upon patient admission to ensure documentation of patient funding status and minimize financial liability to the metical treatment facility.,Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to maintain workload statistics, track program efficiency, and identify systemic descrepancies.,Advise multidisciplinary trauma service personnel, specialty clinics, and external civilian agencies on the application of established processes.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
