This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/JOINT STAFF SUPPORT CENTER.
Major duties: Provides DISA expertise in IT policy and planning for Cyber capability development and assessment, and C2/Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) programs and capabilities.,Provides technical contributions in the planning, architecture, implementation, and operational use of DISA C4 IT capabilities and enterprise services.,Exercises SME technical knowledge for C4 capability development, integration and assessments to facilitate and integrate C4 IT initiatives.,Develops integrated information requirements, configurations, plans and programs to support the mission Education: There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
