About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Major duties: Assign radio frequency allocations, resolve conflicting assignment requests, and provide end-user technical support across all spectrum management operations.,Coordinate with the Army Frequency Management Office and regulatory stakeholders to secure, authorize, and maintain frequencies for tactical and garrison systems.,Analyze and resolve Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) issues and ensure Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) across radar, satellite, and mobile communications.,Collaborate with Army program managers and engineers to integrate RF spectrum requirements, hardware, and wiring layouts into facility designs.,Serve as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) and spokesperson for spectrum management, representing the organization in technical committees and sustainability initiatives.
