About the Position: This position is located within the Patient Administration Office of Woodson Health Clinic on Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. This clinic operates under the purview of Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major duties: Performs a variety of administrative functions associated with health information including reviewing for completeness, consistency, accuracy, and use of accepted terminology.,Determines eligibility treatment status for all personnel requesting health care services, including the military services, federal agencies, congressional, Red Cross, Public Health and Foreign Military.,Provides information on eligibility status and requirements to patients in order to create appropriate medical records.,Conducts analysis of medical records and quality assurance studies to gather information and statistics.,Inputs data into the automated systems and compiles reports for management use.,Processes requests for release of medical health information and records in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines and local policies.
