This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation Major duties: Serve as an assistant primarily supporting a dental specialist.,Assist in one or more phases of complex/difficult restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic, orthodontic, or periodontal treatment.,Chart examination and treatment information.,Take preliminary impressions for study models, removes sutures, places and removes rubber dams, perio-packs, matrix bands, and wedges.,Sterilize instruments, materials, equipment, and prepare surgical trays.,Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra oral radiographs.,Receive and schedule patients for treatment.,Maintain dental equipment in a clean and operative condition.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
