This position is located in the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As the Director Children and Adults Health Programs Group (CAHPG), you will provide executive leadership in shaping national policies and operations for Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Basic Health Program (BHP). Major duties: Develops national policies and procedures to support and assure appropriate State implementation of the rules and processes governing Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP coverage.,Directs development and implementation of policies and procedures aimed at facilitating the states' ability to support access to covered services for eligible individuals.,Directs development and implementation of policies and procedures aimed at facilitating the states' ability to support accurate and efficient enrollment process and accurate eligibility determinations.,Manages the development and implementation of Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP quality measurements and improvement strategies.,Establishes policy and manages contracts and grants related to improving health outcomes including administration of outreach and enrollment grants and quality initiatives.,Develops and implements policy and outreach to those eligible for Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP, including sensitive populations and coordinates activities with other HHS components and federal agencies.
