This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Chief Information Officer, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Major duties: WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Lead IT Cybersecurity Specialist, you will: Lead the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team by communicating organizational strategy, mission, and priorities; assigning and managing work; coaching staff on problem-solving and work methods; and balancing workloads to ensure timely completion of objectives.

Serve as the principal cybersecurity and information security lead, coordinating the implementation and enforcement of security policies, integrating security programs, assessing system and network designs for risks, overseeing incident response activities, and ensuring compliance with security requirements. Analyze and synthesize cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources to identify risks, assess adversary capabilities and activities, detect and respond to cybersecurity events, evaluate vulnerabilities, and develop or recommend mitigation strategies.

Manage cybersecurity projects and programs to achieve organizational objectives, coordinates and integrates cybersecurity activities, supervises and leads personnel, represents team findings and recommendations, and reports on performance, progress, and training needs. Education: Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.
