This position is located at a VA Fiduciary Hub. The Assistant Fiduciary Hub Manager is responsible for the administration, control and direction of the Fiduciary Hub Division. This includes representing and protecting the rights and interest of veterans, minor beneficiaries, and their families. Major duties: Specific duties include: Provides leadership and direction to the Hub and coordinates its activities with other Fiduciary Hubs, Regional Offices, and Divisions within the Regional Office.

Responsible for implementing laws, policies, and procedures by means of supplemental directives, interpretations, and procedural instructions. Resolves and shares the responsibility for final determinations on questions or interpretation of regulations, precedent decisions, instructions, and other controlling guidelines. Provides for uniform understanding through training conferences, informal discussions, and instructional memoranda.

Co-manages oversight of the conduct of field investigations for fiduciary matters. Responsible for ensuring the veterans across the multi-state jurisdiction are in receipt of the full range of VA benefits to which they are entitled. Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Not Available Telework: This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only.

The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday. Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval. § 2634.904(a). The selectee must submit the form before entering on duty and annually thereafter. In determining if your employment advances the public interest, we may consider: your performance and conduct; the needs and interests of the Agency; whether your continued employment would advance organizational goals of the Agency or the Government; and whether your continued employment would advance the efficiency of the Federal service.

Upon completion of your probationary period or trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
