The Health Technician will be located within the Veteran Affairs Health Care System, North Florida/South Georgia, Andrew K. Baker Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). This position provides technical and supportive assistance to medical personnel and team members in the diagnosis or treatment of patient's illnesses or medical conditions in a PACT setting. Major duties: Duties include, but not limited to: Interact with hospital/clinic personnel to correct discrepancies.

Establish priorities for emergency orders. Maintain records for routine patient test or laboratory transactions. Maintain eye wash station checkoffs as up not date as well as centrifuge check offs for appropriate function. Upload Holter results/data for diagnostic reading. Provide general or basic information to assist in problem resolution. Assist the appropriate staff in dating and properly storing supplies as they arrive.

Responsible for stocking or restocking exam/procedure rooms within the clinic. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
