Paladin Security is hiring a Security Supervisor to join our team at North York General Hospital (Leslie) in Toronto, ON. What You’ll Do As a Security Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction to the security team while ensuring all site policies, procedures, and daily security activities are carried out effectively. Your responsibilities will include: Provide leadership, direction, ongoing coaching, and training to security staff Ensure all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are completed as required for each shift Ensure staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site-specific security policies and procedures Plan and implement shift work schedules Ensure all Security Guards have completed mandatory training Motivate staff and issue commendations Discipline staff when necessary and ensure proper documentation is provided to head office Perform security audits Document and investigate security incidents and complaints Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols Communicate concerns and issues with the Client Service Manager Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have: Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved provider Proof of double COVID vaccination Immunization record for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2 Valid G Class Driver’s License Willingness to complete N95 mask fit testing during training Vulnerable Sector Check Excellent written and verbal communication skills Legal authorization to work in Canada Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications Applicants who do not currently possess UOF/MOAB certifications can opt into Paladin’s certification program before onboarding training to meet the requirements of the position.

Please note: UOF/MOAB certification training is an unpaid pre-employment requirement. Paladin will cover the cost of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.
