Join an established global financial services group with a strong international presence. The business is launching a new specialist division focused on cyber liability and professional lines and is looking for an experienced producer to help build and grow the division from the ground up. This is not a seat on an existing team: you'll own new business development for cyber, tech E&O, miscellaneous professional liability, D&O, and EPLI across the middle and upper-middle market, and over the first 24 months you'll help shape the practice's strategy, carrier relationships, and eventual hires.
You'll be backed by an organization with an existing commercial P&C book to cross-sell into and institutional carrier relationships already in place. This is an in-office role based in South Florida (Miami area); relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Prospect and close new cyber liability accounts across target verticals including legal, medical, financial services, and real estate Work warm leads generated through digital marketing and referral channels Build direct relationships with MSPs, IT providers, and CPA/law firms as ongoing referral sources Cross-sell cyber and professional lines coverage into the firm's existing commercial P&C book Present risk assessments and coverage recommendations directly to business owners and their advisors Maintain and grow relationships with leading cyber and professional lines carriers, and stay current on the threat and pricing landscape Help define and build out the practice over time, including strategy and future hires Requirements 5+ years of experience in commercial P&C production, with cyber liability and professional lines at the core A portable book of business generating $500K–$800K in annual commission across 25+ accounts Direct experience placing cyber and professional lines coverage with top-tier carriers Demonstrated experience building something from scratch, such as launching a practice, opening an office, or hiring and managing producers Preferred Qualifications Background at a top-tier brokerage or wholesaler, with established institutional carrier relationships Experience presenting to and advising senior technical or financial decision-makers (e.g., CIOs, CTOs, CFOs) Existing referral relationships with MSPs, IT providers, CPAs, or law firms An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build and shape processes as the business grows Benefits Base salary: $150,000–$175,000 Commission: 20–30% on new business production Equity 401(k) retirement plan Additional benefits and PTO details to be discussed during the interview process Relocation assistance available for the right candidate Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Both Keller Executive Search and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.
