Job Title: Air Defense Electronic Warfare Analyst (Senior) Job Category: Intelligence Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * * The Opportunity: The CACI Air Defense Electronic Warfare (EW) Analyst position supports the U.S. Army and its stakeholders at Aberdeen Proving Ground by contributing to efforts that counter global electronic warfare and signals threats.

In this role, you will work as part of an integrated team within the Communications-Electronics Command Software Engineering Center’s Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office to ensure mission‑critical systems remain effective against evolving threats. The position requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with technical teammates on ongoing projects.

You will play a key role in maintaining the Army’s readiness by helping to assess, update, and adapt electronic warfare capabilities in response to emerging adversarial tactics. Responsibilities: Support development software reprogramming requirements for the AN/APR-39 Radar Signal Detection Sets (RSDSs) and AN/APR-48 Radar Frequency Interferometer (RFI) systems found onboard Army supported platforms such as the UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, and AH-64 Apache helicopters.

Analyze the Order of Battle (OB) and extract weapon system and emitter information to create a prioritized list of threats to be reprogrammed into MDS software. Travel, as needed, to conduct Aviator Training and Technical Coordination Meetings to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. Develop Mission Data File (MDF) reprogramming and simulation requirements in the form of a Threat Analysis Specification (TAS) to meet emerging threats.

Critically analyze and review results of tests against developmental MDS programming to confirm system threat detection requirements from the TAS are met. Conduct Verification and Validation tests of MDS programming before fielding. Develop Aviator Product documentation for aircrew such as Kneeboard Cards and Pertinent Notes. Conduct analysis of new threats to aviators in the field and write System Impact Messages that detail indications of the threat relevant to their ASE.

Perform independent reviews of intelligence briefings, reports and information/issue papers produced by Service Production Centers. Support functional auditing of mission performance with customers on-site. Support simulations, programming, and signals analysis teams of relevant threat information and technical consultation as needed. The primary focus of this position is to provide support services to the Threat Analysis (TA) Branch within ARAT-PO.

The Threat Analyst shall be responsible for supporting the development of Mission Data Set (MDS) software for the ARAT-TA Branch through analysis of air defense systems, as well as providing intelligence data and threat information for Aircraft Survivability Equipment and Electronic Warfare systems fielded to the US Army. Qualifications: Required:  TS/SCI Level Clearance. At least nine (9) years of relevant experience working with EW capabilities.

Foundational knowledge of RF theory. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently conduct research and gather information related to threats and intelligence data. Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership. Desired: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Prior applicable military experience in EW, specifically with air defense systems. Knowledge in all-source ELINT data derived from EWIRDB/CED, AFTTP, and SIPRNET resources.
