The SCM program is designed to train and qualify program members to provide “right seat support” for our clients attending FAA approved 14 CFR 142 curriculum courses at our facilities. We seek local candidates to our Orlando location for this on-call SCM position. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Fulfill the “Pilot Monitoring” role during Flight Simulator training under FAA and/or EASA regulations Attend all elements of the training event to support client’s training and learning experience, including pre-flight and post flight briefings Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with clients and instructors Completes necessary forms and checklists as required for pilot monitoring role REQUIREMENTS Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot certificate Airplane Multi- Engine Land (MEL) Instrument rating airplane multi-engine land, with 50 hours of multi-engine and instrument experience 400 hours Total Time (100 hours of turbine, preferred) Available for a minimum of 35 events in a 12-month period to stay current and receive recurrent training Must live within the Orlando area Must be able to commit 10-15 days of work a month Scheduling is at a minimum of 5 hours at a time and could be scheduled 24/7 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position as an SCM will give you an opportunity to remain in the cockpit, providing seat support for high quality flight training to our clients. In addition to receiving formal aircraft SIC simulator training for select aircraft types, the SCM will have the opportunity to earn and then attend, at no cost one of the many advanced programs and enrichment courses provided by CAE.
