Lucie area. Opening its doors in 2013 and expanding in 2017, this   state-of-the-art   acute care facility has 177 patient rooms and offers a wide variety of services to meet community needs. Here, you will be supported as you follow your dreams and find where you belong, here at Tradition Hospital . Tradition Hospital features   a state-of-the-art   Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab. The lab specializes in minimally invasive, nonsurgical procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases, performing interventions like balloon angioplasty,   stenting   and imaging through small catheter insertions.

As an RN on this team, you will   provide direct patient care before, during and after invasive cardiac procedures through monitoring vital signs, administering medications,   assisting   the   physician   and ensuring patient safety throughout the process. You will also educate patients and their families about the procedure and post-procedure care. This is an ideal role for an RN with   previous   critical care nursing experience who is looking to advance their skills even further.

Here, you will have the  opportunity   to cross train and be on the path to taking on leadership positions. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 5:30PM, with on-call requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will:     Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate,   update   and revise patient care plans . Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions .

Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders . Assess and   coordinate   patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families, considering cultural issues and other special concerns . Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing   study .

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:     Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma,   ADN   or BSN program)   Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)    Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart
