Your Impact As a Product Manager in Cisco Collaboration Devices, your mission is to help build intuitive, intelligent devices that make distance disappear, so people can connect, create, and do their best work from any space. You will turn customer insight, technical possibility, and business strategy into clear product direction, then work with design, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to bring that direction to market.
In this role, you will: Own product capabilities from discovery through launch, connecting customer needs, market trends, technical constraints, and business goals. Build a deep understanding of users, partners, and customers through research, product data, feedback, and close collaboration with go-to-market teams. Define clear requirements, success metrics, and trade-offs that help engineering and design teams build the right thing.
Contribute to a 5 years roadmap for one or more product areas, balancing long-term opportunities with practical delivery. Drive launches with marketing, sales, support, and regional teams, making sure the story, timing, and readiness are strong. Learn quickly, ask sharp questions, and grow your product judgment by taking ownership of real problems with support from an experienced global team. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in product management, product development, or an adjacent builder role, with a track record of shipping products, features, or customer-facing improvements from discovery through launch.
A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Development, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience turning customer, market, and business needs into product requirements, priorities, and launch plans. Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, sales, or operations. Familiarity with hardware products, connected devices, collaboration technology, or products where hardware and software work together.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to explain decisions and trade-offs clearly. Preferred Qualifications A builder’s mindset: you have created, launched, improved, or owned something end-to-end and can explain what you learned from it. Self-directed learner who can ramp into unfamiliar technology, customer segments, or markets and turn ambiguity into practical next steps.
Curiosity about users and markets, with comfort combining qualitative insight, product data, and product intuition. Technical fluency and confidence discussing hardware/software dependencies and trade-offs with engineering. Analytical and commercially aware, with a strong instinct for prioritization, customer value, and measurable impact. Collaborative teammate who builds trust across cultures, functions, and time zones.
