The K ey Purpose of this role is to Monitor and control production processes during the shift using the appropriate tools in accordance with VPO standards (OWS, Team Rooms, 5S, etc.). Key Roles and Responsibilities: Interpret and implement the production plan for the shift.
Conduct quality analyses and ensure that process quality and productivity targets are achieved during the shift. Manage waste and by-products during the shift. Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Maintain effective communication in the workplace. Use escalation procedures to ensure that response times are minimized. Execute VPO implementation plans in accordance with VPO standards.
Exceed targets and ensure that shift targets are achieved. Ensure the application of administrative systems and procedures. Contribute to personal development and the development of the team. Ensure that all actions are completed on time and in accordance with VPO standards . Apply problem-solving techniques and principles, as well as effective decision-making. Ensure that problem-solving activities are initiated in accordance with the triggers identified in the OWS.
Discuss your development plan, SKAP, and training requirements with your supervisor. Key Attributes and Competencies: Hold a university degree in Food Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry, or a high school qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
