Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Part 147 Maintenance Instructor Training & Proficiency Assessor (f/m ) to join our Training Center within our Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France. As The Part 147 Aircraft Maintenance Instructor Training & Proficiency Assessor, you will be responsible for selecting, assessing, qualifying, and continually developing Airbus Maintenance Instructors across the Airbus global training network.
In this key role focused on quality and safety, you will ensure global network compliance, guaranteeing that all training activities strictly adhere to EASA regulations (Part-66 / Part-147) and Airbus internal standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting Annual Proficiency Checks (APCs), facilitating train-the-trainer programs, auditing training centers, and promoting safety initiatives across the organisation.

Your challenges: Instructor Qualification & Capability Development Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee candidate selection and qualification pipelines to meet global resource demand and operational agreements.
Mentorship & Coaching: Guide candidate instructors through dry-runs and evaluation milestones to build confidence and streamline the qualification process. Proficiency Assurance: Perform Annual Proficiency Checks (APCs) to evaluate instructor performance, resolve skill gaps, and institute targeted recovery plans. Train-the-Trainer Facilitation: Deliver the Airbus Maintenance Instructor Course (AMIC) to enforce high-caliber teaching methodologies across all locations.
Compliance, Governance & Quality Management Regulatory Oversight: Guarantee complete alignment of training programmes with EASA Part-66/147 mandates and internal Airbus governance. Audits & Site Surveys: Inspect global training sites to ensure audit readiness; investigate, track, and proactively resolve non-conformances or procedural deviations. Record Integrity: Maintain comprehensive, audit-proof documentation for instructor credentials, assessments, and competency profiles.
Standardisation & Operational Quality MTOE Alignment: Ensure instructor capabilities, authorisations, and operational scopes are formally documented and approved within the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE). Authorised Scope: Enforce strict adherence to assigned operational limits for all instructional staff. Continuous Standardisation: Lead standardisation workshops, internal audit follow-ups, and refresher courses to align staff with evolving regulatory standards.
